Today, Friday, February 17th, the budget airline Air Australia went into administration and ceased all its operations. Several hundred passengers have been stranded after the cancellation of a flight between Phuket and Melbourne; thousands others have also been affected on various domestic and international destinations.
Air Australia has five Airbus aircrafts. The airline offered operations to Bali, Honolulu, Phuket, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Port Hedland and Derby.
Passengers who purchased Air Australia tickets are advised to contact the airline. Seek for alternative airlines.
